This is my first newsletter as president of the southeast chapter and I want to thank everyone for the friendship, confidence and support you have shown me!  I would also like to recognize the other officers that have graciously volunteered to lead and serve this active chapter.  Jan Thompson is our new Vice President, Keith Landers who has served as webmaster for four years is now also our treasurer.  Sara Rouner is our incoming secretary and Doug Thompson is our new rally coordinator.  Yvonne Brim is our incoming membership chair

I hope that you keep up to date with Southeast!  I am very grateful for the talents of our webmasters and we will be using e-mail, the southeast web site (www.southeastaca.net) and the southeast Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/Southeastaca/) as well as the American Coach Association web site (www.myamericancoach.com) to keep you informed.  Doug Thompson is also the ACA webmaster and the editor of the American Coach Association magazine.   

Thanks go out to Mark and Jackie Belcher, Rich Forcier, Kenneth Browning and Johnny Spacek for hosting our annual Christmas Rally last December!  Their efforts along with Larry and Margaret Carter who hosted for several years made it possible for this rally to continue to grow.   

The 2017 Regional Rally at Lazydays went very well with 80 coaches in attendance.  Following the Regional 32 coaches went to the Florida fairgrounds to participate in the Supershow Rally which was a big hit!  The combination of having the Lazydays rally with the option of going to the Supershow as a group was so much fun we have decided to do the same thing in 2018!

I am very pleased to report that we have several rallies scheduled.  First up is our pre-rally to the national at Shawnee, Oklahoma.  Our pre-rally will be held June 16-19 at the Oklahoma Expo Center.

We are looking forward to attending the national at Shawnee hosted by the Great Lakes, Missouri Valley and South Central Chapters.

The annual “Return to the Keys” rally is being hosted by the Northeast Chapter as a regional rally in November 2017.  We look forward to a great rally!

The annual December Rally at Sun N Fun Sarasota is already taking shape.  Our hosts for 2017 will be Terry & Belinda Moorefield, Wendy Gaynor and Dave & Ann Laudick.  These rally hosts started planning for the 2017 rally before the 2016 rally was over!

The 2018 Eastern Regional at Lazydays promises to be a great time!  Rally coordinator Doug Thompson has spent a lot of time on this event and we are already receiving registrations!  

In January 2018 we will once again be attending the Florida RV Supershow as a group.  Last year registration was not available till September and was sold out in October!  Registration will be through the Florida Recreation Vehicle Trade Association at www.frvta.org . 

Our Rally coordinator Doug and I are hoping for your input!  Southeast is an active, friendly chapter and we would welcome fresh ideas on places to hold a rally.   We have a lot of experienced hosts and volunteers that are always willing to lend a hand.  We can be reached at pauline@southeastaca.net or doug@rvzoomin.com

Annual Eastern Regional – January 12 – 16, 2018
Lazydays, Seffner, FL
Southeast hosts the 7^th Annual Eastern Regional Rally. 

This popular rally will be held the week before the nearby Florida RV Supershow.  Rally includes four nights at Lazydays RV Campground, meals and entertainment.  Please note that this rally requires no “up front” payment.  Payment will be made to Lazydays after you arrive for the rally.
